Quitting Pekpik VPN on Mac doesn’t disconnect the VPN

On a Mac, the VPN tunnel is run by macOS, separately from the Pekpik VPN window and menu bar app. Quitting the app leaves your connection on, the same as on iPhone. To stop the VPN, click Disconnect first, then quit.

Disconnect, then quit

  1. Click the Pekpik VPN icon in the menu bar.
  2. Click Disconnect and wait until the status shows disconnected.
  3. Choose Quit Pekpik VPN (⌘Q) at the bottom of the panel.

Already quit while connected?

  1. Open Pekpik VPN again from your Applications folder.
  2. Click its menu bar icon and check the connection status.
  3. If it shows Connected, click Disconnect.

Quitting the app doesn’t sign you out or change your account.
