Install Pekpik VPN from the Mac App Store

Install from the Mac App Store

1. On your Mac, open the Mac download page and click Download on the Mac App Store, or search for Pekpik VPN in the App Store app.
2. Click Get, then Install, and sign in with your Apple ID if asked.
3. Open Pekpik VPN from Launchpad or your Applications folder.

First launch

1. Read the privacy summary and click Accept and Continue.
2. Look for the Pekpik VPN icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen. The app has no Dock icon. Click the icon to connect, or choose Open Pekpik VPN for the full window.
3. The app sets up a guest account for you automatically. There is no password.

First connection

1. Click Connect in the menu bar panel or the main window.
2. macOS asks to add a VPN configuration for Pekpik VPN. Click Allow, and enter your Mac password or use Touch ID if asked.
3. Wait for the status to change to Connected.

The Mac App Store version doesn’t need a system extension approval. That step is only for the DMG version from pekpik.com.

VIP on the Mac App Store version

VIP bought in this version is an App Store subscription billed through your Apple ID. You can restore it on this Mac from the subscription screen, and manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
