Install Pekpik VPN on Windows

Download the installer from the Windows download page, run it, and click Yes when Windows asks whether to allow it to make changes. Pekpik VPN needs 64-bit (x64) Windows 10 or 11. The installer adds a background Windows service that runs the VPN, plus shortcuts on the desktop and in the Start menu.

Download and install

  1. Open the Windows download page and click Download for Windows (64-bit).
  2. Open the downloaded file, named like PekpikVPN-Setup-<version>.exe.
  3. If a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen appears, see “Windows protected your PC” warning.
  4. When User Account Control asks whether to allow the app to make changes to your device, click Yes. Installing needs administrator rights.
  5. Follow the installer. Pekpik VPN is installed to C:\Program Files\Pekpik VPN.
  6. Open Pekpik VPN from the desktop shortcut or the Start menu.

Check the file is genuine

Only download the installer from pekpik.com. The download page lists its SHA-256 checksum. To check it, open PowerShell and run Get-FileHash followed by the path to the installer and -Algorithm SHA256. The result must match the page exactly.

After installing

  • Closing the Pekpik VPN window keeps the app running in the system tray. See Pekpik VPN in the system tray.
  • To start the app when you sign in to Windows, turn on Launch at Login in Account > General.
  • Pekpik VPN for Windows runs on 64-bit Intel and AMD (x64) PCs. Check the download page for the current requirements.
