Why is a server locked?
iPhone & iPadUpdated
A lock means the server is only available to VIP members, or that your free data allowance is used up. Tapping a locked server shows an upgrade prompt instead of connecting. After you get VIP, the server list refreshes and the locks disappear.
What you may see in the app
- This server is available for premium subscribers. Upgrade your plan to unlock all servers.
- … requires a subscription before it can be used.
- This is a VIP node. Free nodes remain available.
- This server requires a premium subscription. Please upgrade your plan.
- This route requires a subscription before it can be used.
- This node requires a VIP membership.
What happens when you tap a locked server
A Premium Server card appears. Tap Subscribe Now to see VIP plans, or Cancel to go back to the list.
Who decides what is locked
Our service decides which servers your account can use, and the app shows that. The lock is not based on the server’s name. That’s why a lock can appear or disappear after you sign in, subscribe, redeem a code, or when your VIP ends.
Locks still showing after you upgraded
- Make sure you are signed in to the account that has VIP.
- Reopen the app to refresh the server list. On iPhone you can also pull down on the list.
- If you bought through the App Store, try Restore purchases. If VIP still isn’t active, see Paid but VIP isn’t active.
