Signed out unexpectedly: why am I a guest?

iPhone & iPadUpdated

Your sign-in session on this device is no longer valid, so the app clears it and sets up a new session in the background. This doesn’t delete your account or your VIP. If the account page no longer shows your email, sign in again with your email and a new code.

What you may see in the app

  • Your account session expired. Continue with the account this device belongs to, or log in with another email.
  • Your login expired. Sign in again or continue with this device's account.
  • Your session expired. Restoring guest access in background.

Why it happens

Each device keeps its own sign-in session for your account. When the app sees that the session is no longer valid, it clears it and registers this device again.

Your account, your VIP and your email are still there. Only the session on this device was reset.

On iPhone and iPad

  1. The app may disconnect the VPN while it resets the session. Tap connect again on the Connect tab.
  2. Open the Account tab. If you see your email, you’re back in your account.
  3. If the Account tab shows the card “Associate your email to protect your VPN setup”, tap Associate Email and sign in with the same email and a new code.

If it keeps happening

Make sure you have the latest version of the app. If you’re signed out again and again, email [email protected] with your account email.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your Support ID from the Account page.
