Pekpik

Reinstalled the app: does it count as a new device?

iPhone & iPadUpdated

Pekpik gives each device an identity. Updating the app keeps it. On iPhone and iPad, reinstalling keeps it too, so no new device is added. If you see an entry in your device list that you no longer use, remove it from the Account page. If the app doesn’t show your email after reinstalling, sign in again with your email.

On iPhone and iPad

On iPhone and iPad, reinstalling keeps the device identity, so the app reconnects to the account previously used on this device and no new device is added. If the Account tab doesn’t show your email, sign in again with your email and the 6-digit code.

If your email isn’t shown after reinstalling

See Link your email to protect your account for details.

  1. Open the account page in Pekpik VPN.
  2. Sign in with the email you used before. You will get a 6-digit code by email.
  3. Enter the code. Your account, including VIP, is now on this device.

Remove the old entry

Open the device list on the Account page and remove the entry you no longer use. The current device is marked, so you can tell them apart. Old entries can count toward your device limit, so removing them helps avoid “Device limit reached”. See Remove or rename a device.

If you never linked an email

A guest account has no email, so it can only be found through the device it was created on. On a new phone or computer, the app starts a new guest account. If you subscribed through the App Store, use Restore purchases. Otherwise, email [email protected] with your Support ID if you have it.

To avoid this in future, link your email before you delete the app or move to a new phone or computer.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your Support ID from the Account page.
